We escaped London for the day to hike the Seven Sisters Coastal Path. Complete with a dip in the sea and a cold drink to cool off afterwards!

Trinity College Visit

Daniell Prize

Very well done to Imogen for winning the KCL Chemistry Daniell Prize for her PhD research. We are all incredibly proud!
John Frederic Daniell was the first professor of chemistry at the newly founded King’s College London in 1831.

Main Group AGM

Matt presented some of his recent work at the Main Group Meeting and AGM in Edinburgh. If you’d like to know how much aluminium there is in Earth’s crust using footballs as a reference, drop Matt a line!

The Bakewell Group moves to King’s

After 3 years at UCL the Bakewell group is saying goodbye to Gordon Street. But don’t worry we’re not leaving capital, the new labs are just a short hop away in the Department of Chemistry at King’s College London. We’ll miss our friends and colleagues at UCL, but we’re looking forward to making new ones south of the river.
